The entire GR® 20 takes approximately 15 days to complete on foot. It can be done both ways.
The best time to hike it is from late May/early June to late October. July and August tend to see the most people on the trails. There are shelters along the way. You can pay to stay at a shelter, but you can also pay a fee to camp at a campsite if you brought a tent. Camping along the GR®
